pitcher of dried flowers cyanotype
and I won’t forget
Sun Print, Cyanotype
9×12 watercolor paper

Flowers in a glass pitcher. Dead flowers. Neglect? Absence? Returning? So many things that these flowers could represent. (PS: the title of this piece references a song…)

I loved this photo so much that I turned it into a sun print. The original image can be seen here. For this cyanotype, I chose to paint the paper all the way to the edges, creating a smooth, elegant finish to the piece.
