My friend Caroline at Ritter Botanicals keeps me supplied with photo subjects during dahlia season. Our kids attend the same schools and play soccer together. She’ll often stop by my house after dropping her kids off in the morning, or pop out of her car in the school pick up line to hand me a gorgeous bouquet of dahlias in a recycled jar. This beautiful, understated white dahlia looks demure, with her one petal bent toward her rich yellow disc.
